Claire Wiltsher is a professional Landscape painter working from her studio gallery in Lyndhurst in the New Forest. Claire's Paintings capture the different weather and mood of land and sea. She states that " total recognition inhibits the imagination". She has a Masters degree in Fine Art, and has exhibited in solo shows throughout Britain as well as been a finalist in many competitions. In 2010 she was awarded the ROSEMARY & CO ART AWARD by Society of Women Artists. In December 2011 Claire's work was selected by the House of Lords Works of Art Committee In August 2012 Artist & Illustrators magazine named 'Airwaves' picture of the month and her painting 'Golden Age' (series) was selected for 5th Annual Cork Street Open Exhibition which took place in August 2012. In April 2013 Claire's was exhibited for the first time internationally at the New York Affordable Art Fair. Poems often accompany Claire's work and can help communicate specific ideas. Claire Wiltsher is available for commissions as well as exhibitions and new initiatives.
